PhD in Sensory Marketing
Johan Swahn has, for the past ten years, specialized in integrating science and business within the grocery retail sector, while drawing on his experience as a former chef. He has several medals from the Culinary Olympics and Culinary World Cup and worked for Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck in the UK.
Today Swahn is the co-founder and creative director of science and trend driven food consultancy, Diaz & Swahn (www.diazswahn.com), in Stockholm, where he helps companies drive innovation, brand, marketing and product development. His inspiring talks about food trends and sensory marketing are highly in-demand. He is also a researcher (PhD) at the Sense Lab at Örebro university, Department of Culinary Arts and Meal Science.
